“From the moment we first walked in the door at Charles Mill Marina there was a sense of home, and comfort. Our pup Sawyer was immediately greeted and welcomed by everyone, including Millie and Marina. This put him at ease, while privately battling his own anxieties caused by missing his kitties at home. We rented a pontoon! Best decision we have recently made! Sawyer was welcome to come on the pontoon as well! At first we were a little worried that he would be nervous, or immediately hop over the side into the water, but he relaxed and loved every second of being on board! My husband was happy to get back on the water again after 13 years. We caught several fish, and simply enjoyed the peace and quiet out on the lake. The staff and management at Charles Mill Marina are top notch, good people. We have gone in everyday to say hi, and have witnessed firsthand that the staff and management understand what it takes not only to run a business, but how to be genuinely engaged in conversations with others. Which is an aspect of humanity that seems to be disappearing. I would give Charles Mill Marina 10 stars, yet 5 is the limit. From can openers to hopefully a life long bond.
