Sales
As a lifelong boater, Dave brings a wealth of knowledge to our Boat Sales & Delivery Team. From his expert knowledge of pontoons and outboard motors, to his unrivaled expertise in pontoon houseboats, Dave is a trusted resource for our customers. His role on our delivery team provides our customers with a knowledgeable and friendly resource as they take delivery of their boat. During boating season, Dave can be found aboard his houseboat, the Buckeye Quarters, here on Charles Mill Lake. He is a big Ohio State football fan and enjoys time on the water with his family and friends.
In his role as Sales Manager, Mike is the primary contact for our Boat Sales department. He personally oversees the sale of every boat, motor, and trailer to ensure that the sales experience exceeds customer expectation. He is a minor internet celebrity for his YouTube Boat Walk-Throughs, which have garnered over 250,000 combined views since 2021. Mike is a graduate of Ohio University and a fan of the Ohio Bobcats and Cleveland sports teams and enjoys spending time on the lake with family and friends.
Scott brings a lifetime of boating experience to our Boat Sales & Delivery team, providing a friendly, knowledgeable and no-pressure sales experience. He is particularly passionate about our deck boats and tritoons, and his favorite part of his job is taking customers for rides at delivery to demonstrate the performance and features of their new boat. In his spare time, Scott enjoys boating on Lake Erie and spending time with his kids and grandkids.
Service
Chris is a Suzuki factory-certified technician and excels at diagnosing and repairing complex issues with boat motors of all shapes and sizes. His decades of experience in engine repair make him a trusted resource for our customers, and his skill at boat building helps our customers turn their old boats into like-new boats with our Re-Deck Program. In his spare time, Chris can be found boating on Pleasant Hill Lake. Keep an eye out for him and his vintage jet ski flying around the lake!
Harry brings a lifetime of experience to our service department, specializing in boat and motor rigging for new boats. He is also an expert on hauling pontoon houseboats in and out of the water each season. Harry has been a member of our service team for 50 years, beginning in 1976 at Clearfork Marina. His hobbies include houseboating, fishing, and golf, and his favorite events at Charles Mill Marina are the many cookouts and fireworks displays.
As Service Manager at Charles Mill Marina, Jamie works to make sure that our customers and our service department have everything they need to have fun on the water and to keep their boats and motors running great. In addition to coordinating service work, Jamie also spearheads many of the great events at Charles Mill Marina, such as our Live Music, our Paint & Sip Cruises, and our annual Customer Appreciation Night. In her spare time, Jamie can be found houseboating on Charles Mill Lake. She and her husband are avid fishermen and enjoys spending quality time on the water with friends and family.
Ken is a longtime employee of Charles Mill Marina and brings a wealth of knowledge in his role as Service Technician. Ken is a factory-certified Yamaha outboard tech and can expertly diagnose and repair any issue that our customers may run into. In the winter, Ken helps lead our team of boat builders in our Re-Deck Program, restoring old pontoons with new decks, furniture and side panels to make them look brand-new. In his spare time, Ken enjoys hanging out with friends and family and watching sports.
In his role as Junior Service Technician, Drew handles routine service, winterizations, boat hauling, and is a member of our pontoon re-deck crew. He's an artist with a shrinkwrap torch and brings a smile and positive attitude everyday. In his spare time, Drew enjoys hiking in Mohican Forest and gardening.
As a valued member of our service team, Nyck handles routine service, winterizations, boat hauling, dock installations, and is a member of our pontoon re-deck crew. Nyck is often found at Pleasant Hill Marina in the summer. In his spare time, Nyck enjoys fishing at Charles Mill Lake and Pleasant Hill Lake, playing video games, and spending time with his family.
Management
Andrew Schraedly is a Co-Owner and the Business Development Manager for Charles Mill Marina. Andrew oversees marketing, finance, accounting, continuous improvement and special projects at our four locations. Andrew is a member of the Young Leaders Advisory Council (YLAC) for the Marine Retailers Association of America (MRAA), and serves on the advisory board for Ohio Clean Marinas program. He has led efforts for Charles Mill Marina to be named as a Top 20 Dealership and a Five-Star Certified Boat Dealership. A 2009 graduate from The Ohio State University, Andrew a passionate fan of the Ohio State Buckeyes, Cleveland Cavs, Cleveland Guardians and Chicago Bears. He also enjoys boating, distance running, biking, softball, and hanging out with family and friends in his spare time.
With over fifty years of experience in the boating industry, Bob brings seasoned competence to the boating business. Bob began his career in boating in 1972 when he and his father, Bob Sr, purchased Clearfork Marina in Lexington, Ohio. On any day of the week you can find him scouting out possible problems and discovering solutions, ensuring the smooth operation of every aspect of the business. Bob is an avid skier and longtime member of the National Ski Patrol at Snow Trails Ski Area. He can be found on gamedays at Ohio State football games in the fall and enjoys spending time with his family, but especially his grandson.
John brings over 40 years of experience in the boating industry as the General Manager at Charles Mill Marina. He began in the early 1980’s at Clearfork Marina near Lexington, Ohio, working in boat sales, service, parts and operations. John managed Apple Valley Marina in Howard, Ohio for over a decade. John helps oversee day-to-day operations at Charles Mill Marina and coordinates our service crew. Fun fact: John once lived in the apartment that used to be half of the main building here at Charles Mill Marina.
Karie has been the manager of Pleasant Hill Marina in Perrysville, Ohio for over two decades, helping to oversee daily operations and ensure the best possible experience for dockers, boat rental customers and lake boaters. Karie is a world-class water-skier, winning the prestigious Ohio Waterski Championship in 1998 and being a five-time participant in the National Waterski Championships. She was the first woman to land the "whirlybird" trick in a judged competition, which is a front flip with a full 360 degree rotation. Her favorite event at Pleasant Hill Lake is the Christmas in July Weekend, especially the Saturday night fireworks show.
